The documented history of Quinta do Bouro dates back to the end of the 15th century, in a royal document by King João II dated February 14, 1492, and it is one of the oldest in the region. Its lands have served the cultivation of fruits and cereals, and hunting grounds for centuries. Due to soil quality and climate, its competencies converged into the production of grapes ensuring high standards of quality to make the best quality wines. Quinta do Bouro has always valued quality and innovation to best serve its clients.
The company Quinta do Bouro - Sociedade Agrícola Lda was registered at the Commercial Registry office of Alenquer, on 28 May 2007, under the number 13490, and is titular of the VAT tax number 508 828 414. The Headquarters is in Quinta do Bouro, located near the village of Ribafria, where its imposing centuries-old winery atop the vineyard is clearly visible from afar.
Their infrastructures include vineyards, a wine cellar with a capacity for half a million liters of wine, modern offices, and warehouses for agricultural machinery and implements.
